Overview
Rosso Corsa Coupé 5 Speed Manual Petrol 340 BHP 2 Seats 2 Doors 3 OwnerOn making its debut at the 1976 Paris Motor Show, the 512 BB was equipped with the 5-litre version of the 12-cylinder Boxer. The new engine was an instant success – it offered the same power with better torque than the previous version in the 365 GT4 BB. The bodywork by Pininfarina differed slightly from the previous model. Some changes were for aesthetic reasons – they enhanced the elegant appearance of the car – while others helped to cool the engine better.
In all, 929 units of the 512 BB were produced up to and including 1981. The 512 BB is the successor model to the 365 GT4 BB, which was manufactured between 1973 and 1976. The 12-cylinder V-engine produces 360 hp at 6,800 rpm.
